Disneyland Hotel Parking Lot Gets a Grind

Something caught my eye this morning from the top level of Pixar Pals parking structure. Looking down toward the Disneyland Hotel lot, it appeared they were tearing up the blacktop. Naturally, I had to check it out.
After making my way down to street level, it turns out the lot isn’t being dug up—it’s being ground down, likely in preparation for resurfacing. This is a standard step before laying fresh asphalt, so nothing major... at least on the surface.
But here’s the twist: this parking lot is one of the areas included in Disneyland Forward plans. That got me wondering if this could be early prep work for future expansion. While this may just be routine maintenance, other things I noticed at the Toy Story lot later might suggest otherwise. Stay tuned for more on that.
