Grand Californian Construction Update

We stopped by Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel recently and while most of our time was spent enjoying the parks, here’s a quick look at the construction status.
The scrim and construction walls are still up, particularly over the Hearthstone Lounge area. According to recent updates, the work appears to be focused on expanding the seating area on the third or fourth floor, possibly part of the hotel’s event space used for wedding receptions and similar gatherings.
Aside from that, the rest of the hotel looks about the same as in recent weeks—no major visible changes elsewhere.
